Supplied by Andritz, the pulp line has a design capacity of 400,000 tonnes/yr of bleached softwood kraft pulp, although it is also capable of manufacturing bleached hardwood kraft pulp.”

“Shenzhen-listed Shandong Sun Paper Industry has announced it will invest USD197.17m in Laos to build a wood pulp mill, state media reports. The mill will have an annual capacity of 300,000 tonnes and will utilise a 30,000 hectare forest and a thermoelectricity plant for production. The investment still needs the approval from the Chinese and the Lao governments.”
